From Inspiration to Beautiful Patterns
Hey there, welcome to the world of STUDIO PLAISIER! Here, I love to share a peek behind the scenes of my creative journey, from the first spark of inspiration to the breathtaking patterns you'll soon have in your interior.
Inspiration: The Spark of Creativity
It all begins with inspiration. We seek out beautiful flowers in full bloom, exotic birds with elegant lines, and funny animals that make us laugh. Sometimes I find the most intriguing patterns in the most unexpected places, and that's when the magic truly begins.
Handwriting of Delft Blue: Pencil and Paint
Once I have those sparkling ideas, I grab pencil and paper. I draw all the images, inspired by the classic Delft Blue, in my own style and handwriting, giving you the feeling that they've been plucked right from Delft Blue pottery. Then I bring them to life with watercolor paint, always in black for that striking contrast so characteristic of Delft Blue on ceramics.
Digital Magic: From Paper to Pixel
After painting every detail with love and care, it's time to make them digital. I scan them in high resolution and convert them to the signature blue of 'Delft Blue'. These digital pieces will soon form the building blocks of our beautiful patterns.
Creating Patterns: Playing with Shape and Color
Now the real fun begins: creating the patterns! I mix and match my digital elements, play with depth, contrasts, and a touch of elegance. It's like putting together a puzzle, but one I know will result in something breathtaking.
