Where Delft Blue meets Nature

In my world, everything revolves around designing surprising patterns. Currently, I'm working on designing patterns for fabrics, wallpaper, and flooring.

Colorful Inspiration: Polychrome Pottery

I infuse vibrancy into my designs by adding color accents inspired by polychrome pottery. I find my colors in the warm tones of reddish-brown, radiant ochre yellow, and deep chrome green, shades that seamlessly blend with traditional Delft Blue and resonate beautifully with the natural beauty around us.

The First Model: The Charming Robin Redbreast

The Robin Redbreast, with its distinctive orange-red breast almost terra-like in color, serves as the first model for my designs. Its beauty perfectly symbolizes the warmth and liveliness I strive to capture in my work.

Handcrafted: From Paper to Pixels

But my process doesn't begin and end with selecting inspiring colors and motifs. All my designs are hand-drawn and painted before being digitally refined into true works of art. This meticulous manual approach adds a unique human touch to each design, making it not only captivating but also telling a story that goes beyond mere aesthetics.

Come Along on the Journey!

In the coming days, I'll gladly share the design process of various details from the patterns with you, through photos and videos. That way, you can virtually peek over my shoulder during the creative process.
